Watch a ship sail away and you will see the hull disappear before the mast. Globe defenders call it curvature. But look at the water line and you will notice the ship does not tip over the edge of anything. It simply shrinks into the vanishing point, the same way a car shrinks down a long straight road. Perspective, not curvature. Bring a good zoom lens and the ship usually comes right back into full view, hull and all. That should be impossible if half a mile of water stood between you. Try it and see what happens. Original content.
